What customers say?

“ Brunch at Hibernia Cafe: overall great food and really cool atmosphere/ambience. Iced mocha was yummy, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. Chilli scrambled eggs with bacon on a charcoal bun: this was super yummy! Looks really great too. Fried chicken burger: the chicken was nicely fried, and the bun was good. Can't go wrong with fried chicken . French toast: sometimes you just want to have a sweet brunch . Eggs Benedict with mochi donuts: this was an interesting dish. The mochi donuts made it really unique. However, the hollandaise sauce was not our favourite. The pulled pork was good though. Sweet potato waffle fries: sooooooo crispy and delicious!!! ”

“ Came here after our hike up Morialta and it's such a delight that we found this place! Such a nice variety of brunch food, mixing Japanese, Korean with Australian food! Def's my favourite place to have smash avo! If you like tangy and a little of spice then this one is a must! Their Big Breakkie is huge, so you better be real hungry to tackle this one! The mochi donut Benedict is a must try as well! It surprisingly really good! Potato pancake was defs filling but so good! Such a great place for brunch with great service and chill vibes. ”

“ I passed-by this Hibernia Cafe quite many times but today was my first visit to this lovely cafe. This cafe occupies the beautiful historical site of Magill Institute. This heritage listed building was built in 1901 to 1902, and has been perfectly maintained. The last significant renovation was done in 2016 and since then Hibernia has been opened and nowadays it is one of the most popular cafe in the Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide. It was amazing that they are one of the very few cafes in Adelaide that are using coffee beans supplied by Toby's Estate coffee roaster. Toby's Estate has been crowned best in the World in 2025 so every time when I was drinking coffees made with their beans, I usually tasted it more seriously as I was hoping to understand why Toby's Estate is the best in the World Sure coffee beans is just one of the factors to have good coffee, the barista and the milk would also count. The coffee from Hibernia was rich and stronger, so I love their coffee ”

“ This is the one of best cafes in eastern suburbs. Spacious high ceiling and seating area in an heritage building on 611 magill road. a good spot for your friends and family to enjoy coffee and brunch here. ”

“ I love coming to Hibernia. There’s always a welcoming vibe and friendly staff. The menu provides a variety of dishes, with fresh ingredients and flavour explosions! This scrumptious dish is the all day breakfast item, Magic Mushrooms. As you can see, a delicious medley of mushrooms and the fried enoki is a delightful topping. A generous serving which almost stops me from helping myself to their moreish homemade Semolina Custard Slice Bougatsa (a must have). They also make my fav coffee in the area. It’s not just the menu which keeps me coming back. The staff always have time for a chat and genuinely care about their customers experience. Drop in hungry and leave happy ”

“ Great little cafe out in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. A short drive out of the city in the direction of Norton Summit. The cafe is a bright, airy space with plenty of tables and a section by the windows where patrons can sit on the high stools and watch the traffic/people go by. The young waitress came by with the menus, took our order and the food was prepared and brought out without too much delay. The food was tasty, the portions were of a good size and the coffee was very good The ambience of this cafe is pleasant and it was busy at that time of the day. There were a few small groups of people who seemed to be regulars at this cafe. When it came time to leave, I walked up to the front counter and settled the tab with the young gentleman who seemed to be the chef/owner of this cafe. Can definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a nice cup of coffee and some delicious food when in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ”
